Speaker bio: Brandon Johnson
Head Curator and Lead Lecturer for South Shore Arts, Brandon Johnson graduated with a BFA in fine arts and a minor in art history from the American Academy of Art in downtown Chicago.
After graduation, Johnson would go on to work as both an instructor, teaching a variety of subjects at the International Museum of Surgical Science in Chicago, and as a curator and independent scholar for several art exhibitions at various museums and art galleries around the Chicagoland area. Currently, on top of overseeing South Shore Arts 20 plus exhibitions each year, Johnson also runs the Art in Focus program, a bi monthly program which focuses on furthering education and exploration in the arts and histories for adults and seniors.
