Speaker: Matthew G. Schiltz is a Staff Attorney at the Federal Trade Commission’s Midwest Regional Office in Chicago, Illinois, where he investigates potentially deceptive and unfair business practices and litigates enforcement actions regarding consumer protection laws. Before joining the FTC, Matt was an Assistant Attorney General in the Consumer Fraud Bureau at the Office of the Illinois Attorney General and spent several years in private practice as an associate and partner at a Chicago-based law firm. Matt is a graduate of Grinnell College and the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law.
