In this critically acclaimed retelling of Mark Twain's Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, readers get the viewpoint of Jim, an enslaved man in danger of being sold who escapes with young Huck on a raft down the Mississippi River while longing for his enslaved wife and child.

The Too Good to Be Missed Book Group meets the second Wednesday of the month at 1:30 pm. Participants can grab a copy of the book being discussed one month before the discussion date at the Adult Reference Desk, or check out a copy through Libby/Overdrive.
