Summer gardens and local Farmer's Markets are bountiful with great vegetables and fruits waiting to be explored and utilized. Chef Susan Maddox will provide some great recipes including Vine Ripe Tomato & Caramelized Onion Tart, Watermelon, Ancient Grain, & Feta Salad, and finally, a French Clafoutis Fruit Dessert. These dishes will be great ones to enjoy with family and friends. A program surely not to be missed!

Speaker Bio: Chef Susan Maddox has over 25 years of Culinary experience working for various restaurants, country clubs, and corporate dining venues. She studied at Kendall College, CIA Greystone and traveled through Italy learning authentic Italian techniques. She is a dedicated teacher at College of DuPage as an adjunct Chef Instructor and visits many Chicagoland libraries. Chef Maddox’s professional experience includes Chef and Proprietor of Le Titi De Paris, Motorola Food Works, Wynstone Country Club, Vidalia On The Park, Bella Vista, and Va Pensiero.
